"To transform lives by following the example of king Jesus to the glory of God."

Sandy Ridge Church is motivated by what we believe are two central biblical truths:

1. It's not about us.    2. It's all about Jesus.

These two values inform our vision statement which is expanded upon below.

To transform lives… (Romans 12:12 ; 2 Corinthians 3:18 , 2 Corinthians 15:17 ; Galatians 2:20 ; Colossians 3:10 )

    In the Church…

By being a place where you can pray and worship (Isaiah 56:7 ; Philippians 4:6 ; Colossians 4:2 ; 1 Timothy 2:1-8 ; James 5:16 )

By being a place where you are free to 'come as you are' (Ephesians 4:25 ; Colossians 3:9-10 )

By being a place where you can find community (Romans 12:3-13 ; Colossians 3:12-15 )

By being a place where you can heal (Psalm 103:2-4 ; James 5:16 )

By being a place where you can learn (2 Timothy 3:16 )

By being a place where you can mature (Ephesians 4:23-26 ; Hebrews 5:11-14 )

By being a place where you can serve (Titus 3:14 )

    Outside the church… (Matthew 5:13-16 )

        In the Community…

By praying for the community

Through Evangelism (Matthew 28:18-20 ; Mark 16:15-16 )

By be an advocate for those who have none (Matthew 25:30-41 )

By making the community a nicer place to be (Jeremiah 29:7 ; Romans 8:19-22 )

By extending the influence of the Church through supporting and expressing unity with other local congregations and by supporting efforts to plant churches locally.

        In the world… (Matthew 24:14 ; Matthew 28:19 )

By praying for the world

By supporting efforts to evangelize (Matthew 28:18-20 ; Mark 16:15-16 ; Philippians 4:14-20 )

By supporting efforts promoting social justice (Isaiah 41:17-20 )

By supporting efforts to make the world a nicer place (Romans 8:19-22 )

by following the example of King Jesus (Romans 1:16 ; 1 Corinthians 1:18 ; 1 Corinthians 4:20 )

to the Glory of God (1 1 Corinthians 10:31 ; Revelation 4:11 )
