What time are services?
We gather Sundays at 10:30 AM in Sandy, Utah.
Where do I park, and which door do I use?
Pull into our main lot. Several spots near the front are reserved for guests, so grab one of those. Come in through the front (west) doors, where a greeter will welcome you and help you find your way.
What should I wear?
Whatever’s comfortable. Most people dress casually (jeans are perfectly normal), and there’s no dress code.
What’s a service like?
It’s relaxed and easy to follow, even if church is new to you. We open with a set of worship songs (a blend of hymns and modern songs led in a contemporary style), take time to greet one another, then settle in for a clear, Bible-based message. Each week we share the Lord’s Supper (Communion) together, and close with a final set of songs.
How long is the service?
About 90 minutes, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, including music and teaching.
Will I be asked to give or stand up?
No. As our guest, you’re free to simply observe and take it all in. We won’t single you out or put you on the spot, and there’s no expectation for visitors to give.
Is there a program for kids?
We believe the church community is a family, and so it’s important to us to have our children participate in as much of the service as possible. Kids remain with their parents for the opening worship songs, are released during the greeting time for their class during the sermon, and return for the Lord’s Supper and the closing set of worship songs. Children ages 1–10 meet together for age-appropriate Bible lessons, games, and snacks. All our kids’ volunteers are background-checked, and no child is ever left alone with a single adult.
Is there a space for nursing mothers?
Yes, we have a private nursing mothers’ room with a live feed of the service, so you can care for your little one without missing anything.
What does “non-denominational” mean?
It means we’re not part of a larger denominational organization. Our authority is the Bible, and our aim is to teach it faithfully. Read our full Statement of Faith.
Can I watch online first?
Absolutely. It’s a low-pressure way to get a feel for us before you visit. We stream our service live on YouTube (@sandyridgechurch), and you can watch past sermons there anytime.
