Sandy Ridge Church runs this website and a small internal tool called echo. This page explains what information each one handles.
This website
We don’t ask visitors for personal information on this site. If you contact us or give through our giving page, we use what you send only to respond to you or to process your gift. Giving is handled by Church Center, which has its own privacy policy.
echo and YouTube
echo is software that runs on one computer at the church. After Sunday service it edits the sermon video and uploads it to the church’s own YouTube channel. Only church staff and volunteers use it, and it doesn’t collect information from anyone else.
echo uses YouTube API Services. When a church account signs in, echo asks Google for permission to upload videos to that channel. It doesn’t read, change or delete anything else on the account, and it doesn’t access viewers’ information. Google gives echo a sign-in token, which is stored only on the church computer. We never sell or share it.
By using YouTube through echo, the church agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) explains how Google handles data.
You can remove echo’s access to a Google account at any time on Google’s security settings page (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions). Removing access deletes nothing that has already been uploaded.
